Great pics!!! I love what we come up with to do when we're bored in the stand! Thanks for sharing.

Cool pics.
I haven't been able to get out during the week.
Trying to get out of DC in the afternoon sucks and I can't get home in time to get in the woods.
I'll be back in the woods Saturday and Monday.
Good luck to everyone and Congrats on the doe Christine!

Glad you enjoyed the stand! You'll have a tough time to switching froma Summit now, with the comfort they offer.

Secretly, I hope you hate it, and I can buy it from you on a great deal!

Now Mike that's just not nice! I do love it, and I'm gonna try it out again this afternoon.

Maybe we could trade it for an Illinois rut week bow hunt?

Glad you like it! As far as that rut hunt goes...it'll take a lot more than a Titan...maybe a Nissan Titan!

Not sure i'm going to hunt this weekend, supposed to be in the mid-80's and humid. If the bugs are as bad as last weekend, they'll carry my big ass off to their leader!

Ok fine. You drive a hard bargain...I'll settle for a pre-rut week!

The down payment on that truck should be about $6500, that'll get your Oct 18-23! To move closer to the rut, you know what you need to do!

Actually, if I had a spot I could take people, I would gladly do it, and hopefully, in years to come, I will be able to do that. Hell, even if I can lock up a lease on the place I have this year, I will be able to have some guests next year.

Well guys I have been only seeing small bucks and does the last couple nights. However tonight things changed and I caught sight of one the big boyswhile in my stand. He came out above me with a doe at about 80 yards and started tofollowher my way then just like that disappeared back into the tree line. I thought it was going to happen tonight just not my day I guess but it is a good sign the big bucks are out.

GOOD LUCK GUYS!

added a video from earlier this year of the buck I saw tonight. he is the second of the 2 bigger bucks. just a little something tocheck out.

I wussed out and didn't hunt over the weekend. Anybody see anything?

I've only gone out once since opening morning. I'll get serious once it cools down a bit again. [:-]
