Looks good. Congrats again.

BTW, for those still hunting, I did see three decent bucks cruising the woods yesterday morning and I nearly splattered a little buck with my truck on the way home. It seems they are moving some.

I actually got up at 3am this morning to go hunting and then wussed out and went back to bed. [&o]

2 weeks left for me! Our office is shutting down for the last 2 weeks of December so I'll be hunting hard everyday till January 1st. Anyone else still out there?

I'm heading out on Saturday Rem. Weather looks decent, I've been wanting an east wind since Oct. 1 and i'll have it on Saturday, yeehaw. Tomorrow looks REAL nasty with an ice storm warning, and sunday is going to be blowing like a gale. The may actually have reason to move on Saturday, so hopefully something can be accomplished. Good luck to you!

Yessir, Schuyler is very good, home to some very high profile outfitters and skyrocketting land prices. Lots of the area has pretty nice hills and valleys. One of my best friends has a lease over there, 80 acres, and they usually see one or two pigs every year. He took a 197" last year with his bow.

My buddy has about 400 acres in schuyler county. They've killed a 170, 160, and a 150 so far this year. And he's complaining that they haven't shot anything "big"!! [&:] I was there last year, it's beautiful deer country, no doubt.

My old boss's brother has a 3000 acre lease their, he guides black bear and deer here in Maine and now gets his outfitting license their as well. I am sure I could get a pretty good deal on a hunt their. I believe he only outfitts for slug season,I am going to try and work out a DIY on his lease, can't hurt to ask.

Absolutely, espoecially if he isn't going to bowhunt it. Gun season over there is ridiculous, LOTS of pressure. Bow season in that area can be real special though, especially during the rut. IF you can DIY it, you should be in for a real good time. The terrain I think lends itself to fairly fast knowledge of deer movements with all the ridges and draws, not a lot of hidden sign really. I only live about 45 min from Schuyler, and would be happy to scope the ground out with you!

That sounds like a pretty sweet deal!! I would try to get a bowhunt in if I were you. But like you said, it can't hurt to ask!

Mike, I'll be heading up your way the last week of October next fall. Myself and SCBigBuckHunter (Andy) booked a hunt up in Carroll County. We'll be driving up.
