Has anyone else picked out certain deer that they are targeting? And is anyone else hunting several tags and states and how are you going to handle that in regards to deer taken first? Just curious bc I know I get to hunt md before pa but will put me in a tough position whether to post 1st buck or to hold out for bigger but run the chance of leaving you guys hanging but the opp of a monster is always there where I hunt. Your thoughts?
I have one dude I'm looking for here in MN. The one I posted about, otherwise...not really.

I'm also hunting Montana (Milk River) and the class deer around there are amazing. I'll hunt MN until the end of sept then off to the milk. So really, my (first) buck will likely be takin in MT and bigger than the one (if lucky enough) in MN.

No one should worry about this contest so much as to "hold out" for a deer just to score better. If you want to shoot it, shoot it. Do not take this TOO seriously, it is for fun. But we're still going to win

Horse Tamers and Glue Crew are to cut down (as clay said) the returning champs. The dark horses.

I guess I don't care too much either on the name, but we should chose quickly as well as choosing a captain.

Sorry about the bow man, hope it gets taken care of!

Oh yeah, I was at full draw when the limb broke. Scared the "you know what" out of me.

100% warranty, new limbs will be put on and bow will be inspected Wednesday of this coming week.

Expect to pay at least$45 labor if you get it done at the shop I bought. mine

stolen yea short story. I'm a bow junky and buy way to much archery equipment. But I bought the fred bear truth last yr and bought the 2 this yr. Well after getting fully equiped to my liking it got stolen out of the back of my expedition at wawa early one am before work. Truck running while I ran in for my daily hashbrowns n monster. So I guess thats gods way of telling me to use last yrs. Talk about mad!

Good news is I pulled out the truth dusted it off and won 2 straight 3-d shoots.

Dark horse tamers gets my vote
for capt. It doesn't matter to me. If no one wants to do it I'll do it. Its really doesn't matter like said this is all in fun and shouldnt be taken to seriously. On that note I'll scout extra today!

I really don't have time for Captain (except with Coke!)

I work 6 days a week, most of the days are 9 or 10 hours. So I wouldn't be able to put in the necessary time.

Im on here pretty much every spare moment I have.
I would be ,ore than happy to be captain, but it matters not one bit to as to who it is.

As for the team name....

"the Horse Tamers"

"The Glue Crew"

I love them both... somebody flip a coin.

Ok let's do this....

list ONE team name weve mentioned as a reply, kinda like a poll. Most suggested will be the Team Name for the 2008-2009 HNI Bowhunting Contest Winners.

MIne:

"The Horse Tamers" Do you really "tame" a horse? What about the Horse "Breakers" AAGGGHHH the choices.

That makes no sense at all???

Maybe "My little pony" would be better.

I still think "Bringing up the Rear" is more appropriate for your team name.
