CT season started today. I whacked a doe just before dark, but hit a bit far back. Giving her time tonight, I'll head back and track her in the AM. Arrow was covered with dark red blood so I'm thinkin liver hit, and she moved off slow and didn't seem spooked, so I didnt want to push her.

RIStrut, good job on the doe. It sounds like you made a good decision letting her sit a while

gtown, did you see any action tonight?

Unbelievable. 2 of us searched for nearly 6 hours and all we found was a few drops of blood where I last saw her. I'm amazed we didn't find a good trail and walk right to her. I am pretty bummed about it.

RI, It happens to the best of us, and you sure can't fix it sittin at the house

Only thing you can do is get back in the tree and slay another one, chock it up to experiance.
