Congrats on the new little hunter!!!! My 4 yr. old is already asking when she'll be able to hunt, because she LOVES deer jerky!!!! And my 2yr old like deer jerky even MORE than the 4 yr. old. I think I'll have a pair of little bowhunters, 10 yrs from now!!!! And that is more exciting than the prospect of ME shooting a deer anytime!!!

Getting ready to go slap a stand on a tree here in a little bit. I'll be above Mr. Big's line of sight this year, and that should make him a little easier to arrow. A nice 150+ 10pt last year, in a drought year, I'm hoping, and I know he's still alive, I'm hoping he's a solid mid 160's class deer!!!!

Well Guys, going down to the farm for this long weekend. Check the trailcams an move the Reconyx an hang my new Leaf River camera. Going to leave my otherLR at the pond just in case it decides to get hot again before OCT. I will get with everyone onSunday night or Monday sometime, be safe anhave a goodLabor Day.

Everything is ready on my end. Stand hung, shooting lanes trimmed, a little mineral lick out...just need for my obsession since April to make his appearance. With a new bow this year and knowing what's in the area my confidence level is off the charts.
