Hey at least you guys get to start hunting deer in september, this is a first that Michigan has allowed this. The bad thing it is open to guns, so it will probably get them into hiding early.

hunting deer in september is awesome! i love getting a doe on the ground in sept. i've done that 7 of the last 8 years. takes all the pressure off the rest of the season for me.

we've have a mid-october doe only gun season the last few years. it's only open in a few areas in minnesota, including my zone. i hate it! everything is nocturnal after that point. my area is really overpopulated. i wish guys would shoot a few more does and leave the little bucks alone. i think i'm the only one in my county that feels that way though [:@]

guys, we should come up with a captain and a team name. i don't think we have to wait for the last person to sign in. we can at least get started. i have no ideas though [8D] i just would prefer it's something original/unique. not, lung busters, or rack attack, etc. but it doesn't really matter, i won't put up a fuss.

I will say that I do not want to be captain. I am not on the forum's enought to be doing that. As far as team name, it doesnt make much of a difference to me. I bought my first trail camera about a month ago and have been trying different spots. I have checked it three times in that month and havent had any bucks on it yet. However, I have some really good sign so im pretty pumped. Season starts October 1st here in Illinois and I am more than ready to go. My brother and I are going out on Sunday to hang our last two treestands and then I will not be back in the timber until opening day. I like to let things settle down!! Nice meeting everyone and good luck!!!!

BrownBow33 - they are good suggestions, I like:

Rack Runners
Hoof Stompers

Tossing in (for RackLuster - something different):

Moki Madness (moki= is a native american word for buck)
Autumn Archers - weak but different

Hope you all are enjoying the weekend!

These are just names that I thought of while flipping through an archery catolog. Some might be a little strange but I was trying to think of different names.
Arrow Addicts, blood strikers, hellrazor's, buckblasters, rack raptors, buck bats, buck snipers, lung lusters,
