RE: Official Team Ribcage Rampage Thread (20)
Hey guys, back from my Wyoming/North Dakota trip.
It was a blast. We had 5 guys and shot a total of 8 animals. 5 pronghorn and 3 mule deer does. Beautiful country. Started snowing the second day we were there and didn't stop till we left Wyoming. Actually shut down the highway outa of town which delayed our drive to North Dakota.
Locals said it was very rare to get snow this time of year, let alone this much (around 5").
North Dakota was great as usual. We shot about 110 birds in 4 days but could have done a lot better. Northern birds hadn't come down from Canada yet, but it was still awesome.
Here is some scenery before the snow.
Then the snow came.
The trucks clean.
The truck dirty.
My pronghorn I took with my muzzleloader.
My mule deer doe.

Wow,what a buck.Lance congrats on a great hunt.I've been seeing a few small bucks, but nothing is moving untill very last light. I had three does in front of me last night at 15 yards. It was so thick and than add low light,I had to be really selective on the shot.I finnally got a quartering shot on one,and took it.It turned out to be just a yougin, but she will eat good.

Somebody has there genes in in uproar.I saw alot of scrapes today. One area has scrapes every few yards along an old logging road.I only saw 2 does and a spike on my morning hunt.I'll be taking the wife out back to my turnip plot. They are hitting pretty good right now.Hopefully she will get a shot.

Hey guys, I havent posted in a while.
I have managed to get a couple does, the bucks in my area havent started laying down much sign yet. It should be getting good in the next couple of weeks.

I agree Chip, the next 3 weeks will be the key to this season. A whole lot of bucks will be hitting the ground in that time frame.
Hopefully a few for this team too.

Got a couple of pics of bucks during daylight hours under one of my stands. They were there yesterday morning at around 7:45. It's going to be cold here in the morning, a front just moved through and we had rain all day. I'm going to be in that stand when the sun comes uptomorrow morning to see if I can get a chance at one of them. They're not giants, but look like decent bucks. I'll post tomorrow and let you all know how it turns out.
