Awesome deer! Things are really starting to look up for us. That should put us in the top ten i would think. Again congrats on the fine buck!

Nice one Gerry. Congrats. Mike and I saw another small buck this morning following a doe trail w/head down. Pretty soon after, I saw Heavy B following a doe about 150 yards out. We took a break and went into town for brunch and then came back out. Rut isn't quite here yet, but getting close.

Well guys congrats to all 3 of you putting some deer down. Wish I had better news. All I got while Matt was home was a Red Fox. Pretty cool and it was a 43 yard shot. If I could just get something other than fork horns and spikes near me. This weekend will be the end of my season. I have been out 16 of the last 20 days. After Sunday I will not be out next week and our gun season opens the 22nd. I go out with my Dad that weekend and we carry the guns. I have only seen 2 deer in the last 2 seasons of gun hunting. Once the big guns start to fire ALL movement is at night unless you jump them.

ALos the rut for our area seems over. We had bucks chasing does all over the place up until about the 5th. After that all bucks big or small have just been walking around on their own seeming to mind their own business. Have seen MANY does and not one had a buck chasing her since Saturday the 8th. Still been seeing lots of bucks and does but nothing to shoot.

Congrats again you guys for filling some tags. I hope I can do my part this weekend.

All right, my hunting is over except for maybe a late season doe hunt in Jan so I will be on more now and don't want to have to look beyound page 1 for our thread so back to page one it is. Just the name of this team demands respect.

Thought I would post a pic of me with the Fox. Sure wish it had scored in the 130's or so.

Very cool fox. I had one 70 yards out back in September, wish it would have come into range.

Has anyone been keeping tabs on whether or not all of our team members are participating? I'm not sure how the alternate thing works but it is getting down to crunch time and we need to bring it home.

I'm not sure but can we pick someone who has taken a 150 class deer and is not on a team[8D].
Where I hunt it is nothing to see a fox or two everytime out.
