Rick that sucks to have your bow down at this time of year. Hell anytime it is down it sucks. After reading up on here and on ArcheryTalk about what to do I started my own basement bowshop for me and family. I do ALL my own work. Well I get my cables from John (BuckNasty). I have to say if you can do it that way it is great. There is so much information out here and so many guys that are willing to help. You just have to learn who you can listen too. There are some that because you are not shooting what they are the only thing they will tell you is junk yours and buy what they have. I really hate those guys. It has cost some money to get all the tools and such but I love knowing that if something is wrong I can do it all myself. Best of luck getting that bow set back and up for the season.

Only 8 DAYS for me until I am in the trees.

Wil, this was a warrenty problem. I do do most of my own stuff. Gotthe results from what was happening. Bowtech sent 08 limbs and cams instead of 06. The Md shop wanted to blamethe problem on the string I had bought from John (Gibblet). This was without even checking the bow again after the original limb/cam replacement. I have it at a shop here in De where this wrong limb problem came to light after I took my original string up there to compare because the lenths Bowtech was providing didn't jive. Both strings were exactly the same lenth as were the cables. Measurements are different for an 08 and an 06. So as of an hour ago this shop is waiting for a call from his rep to see what they are going to do and if I were to gain anything by switching srtings and just leaving the 08 limbs/cams on or have them ship the 06 limbs/cams. I paid good money for this string and it is the right string so just send the right limbs and cams. I'm very frustrated right now. De seaon opened the 1st and Md next week and the bow ain't right.

the only bad part about when I go to SD is the fact that gun season has already passed and most of the deer are spooked and really jittery. I only seen a bunch of does and young bucks last year except for the nice 4x4 that I drew on and of course my release was messed up and when I pulled the trigger on it the claws did notseperate to realease the string!!!!!you want to talk about mad!!!So hopefully this year will be a little better. but for now all I am concerned aboutis 11 days!~!!!!!!
