"I had a 8 at 20 yards but would have been lucky to score in the 90's."

A 90 class deer is considered kind of the tipping point where I hunt...it is considered a pretty good deer.

Dens--sounds like you have a real good chance to score big this year...I cannot wait for the story and pic from you.

I hunted tonight but never seen a thing! beautiful night, just the gosh darn mushrooms are making deeer stay in a little area and not move... Hopefully we get some cold and it get dry so the mushrooms start going away. Then i should get a really good chance at a big one.

Well boys, i found the big 8 again!!! Havent seen him for about 2 weeks and now he's back.. in a different locatoin but right by my ground blind! yesterday morning he came in from 6:35 till 7:30 and last night he was in from 6:35 lastnight till 5 this morning... I am PUMPED! I am almost crying right now because im so happy, due to bears and mushrooms in my neck of the woods we havent had ANY deer movement. Now he comes in 2 days in a row. perfect times for me! I mean he isnt a booner but i think he might reach pope and young which is a big buck to me! In my woods we dont have big bucks like some of you others do. This will be my biggest so far so hopefully i'll get him in the morning when i go out.. I'll keep you guys updated and hopefully have a picture and score up tomrarow morning!!! ttyl guys good luck and be safe

Good luck to everyone, and thanks shadow.. Hopefully your luck will help me because i need as much as i can get! hopefully he walks right outta the thick stuff so i dont hafta look at him long, Dont wanna miss him lol jk. i have NEVER missed or wounded a deer yet, i've been hunting for just about 6 years now and i've killed 8 deer with a bow. Mostly doe's but 2 forks and a 8 pointer smaller though, so if i get this guy he'll be my biggest ever. Well im gonna go get everything ready to head out, gonna leave about 6. good luck boys!
