nice doe you got there densfbs... havent been out since last saturday... had some pretty bad luck, seen 2 doe's, a small 4 pointer and a smaller 8... also seen a coyote, wolf, and a bear... im so sick of bears! they can go hybernate for the winter now... im sick of them! im going down turkey hunting southwest of madison about a half hour and if a nice buck walks out down there im shooting him, theres some monsters there so chances are pretty good.. sorry i havent been on here lately, one morning the site was down and thats when i come on so ya... Good luck guys, and be safe!
Amen on the bears. Sounds like WDNR is finally believing the hunters and will progressively increase tags the next 5-10 year! I have 4 or 5 years in for a tag, so hopefully I get a tag in the next few years.

good job on the doe dens! my season started here yesterday but unfortunately it looks like i won't be able to make it out til sat[:@] i took my brother out for the youth deer season which is before bow season.he put a doe on the ground, so it's good meat inthe freezer, and it was a great way to do some scouting and get a "jump start" on the season.

I am on vacation next week hoping to get a jump on an early season buck. I have three good spots to hunt and hope to visit all three of them next week. I have not seen seen any real big shooters yet but it is early. Typically I don't see the big boys until right around the rut. The area I hunt does not have a lot of pressure and seem to hold a lot of does. When the chase begins that is usually where the bucks will be. Anyway good luck to everyone this weekend, hopefully we can get on the board.

Shot my last 30 shots or so today...zipping them in there and feeling good. Everything is packed up and put away....6 hours of work tomorrow, then off to the beautiful woods at 75 degrees....man life I mean bow season has started again.
