Wis--that 8 kind of looks like the buck I shot last year...I really hope to get a shot at one of the few large bucks I am after (never seen them but know they are there based on a couple years of sign).....just one arrow is all I am asking for the holidays!

Finally got out last night, had a forkie come in around 6:30pm then 2 spikes about half hour later.
All of them get a pass for a couple of years, it is one of the requirements of the new lease I joined.
Did have a couple of other deer milling around at dark, never saw them and gave them some time to leave before getting down but got as soon as my bow hit the ground.
All in all a very good outingand can't wait to get out again, just don't know when I canbefore Saturday.

So is everyone ready to go? Just a few more days for the majority of us. I am off the first full week of Oct hoping to have success early. From whatI see so far the weather is suppose to be cool so it should hopfully keep the deer moving a bit. Good luck to everyone and be safe. Remeber to keep practing even the close 10 yard shots.
