I didpull back onone niceshooter last season, but a small pine tree covered the vitals for a clean shot.He came in just after I passed on a young buck missing an antler on one side, nicknamed "Eliot"... Hopefully this season will offer me more oppertunities than the photo shows..haha

So who is up to bat first? When do your seasons start? I am heading down to NC to hunt their opening day Sept 13th. Thenback to MD for the opener starts Sept 15th, Im off the first 2 days. I had a few bucks patterned but they were with bacheleor groups. I was just out glassing and saw 3 bucks all solo and had just shed the past few dayswhich means around where I hunt they start changing their patterns. Hopefully a few of the big boys will still be feeding around the areas I have set up stands for early season. Ive had some of my best success patterning bucks early season when they are unpressured.

We leave here on the 25th, I need a couple of days to slip around and set stands, I should be hunting on the 28th or 29th.

Hi everyone, I was an alternate and just found out I'm on this team. I can tell by the name it was destiny. I'm a huge Bourne fan. Anyway, I'm still kind of a newby. This will be my 3rd season with a bow and I have only shot one 6 pt buck my 2nd time out in 2005. I'm ready for #2. I will be hunting in OK and my season starts on Oct 1st. Looking forward to this season with you guys.

Minnesota's season starts September 13th as well. Ia is going to be a no go this year with a bow, but i do get to go with the shotgun. Welcome Trouthhunter and Fun2Hunt!

I've got filming duty in NJ for the opener on Sept. 13th, but I'll be in MD on the 19th and 20th and back again the 26th and 27th. The following weekend PA opens.
