Hey guys sorry I aint responded in awhile, just been busy with work and trying to squeeze in evening hunts every so often! My season runs exactly as HuntingEd described!!

I went out a few times over the past week or so and havent really seen much, nothing worth talking about atleast! I went out tonight with the .17cal to take a walk and check out the area for some scrapes/rubs...anything and didnt FIND A DAMN THING?? I dont know, I know the deer are around just not showing any "rutting" activity for me yet???

OK YOU GUYS DECIDE....... I have two options to hunt in the morning, It is in the air for me so I am going to let you guys decide for me and that will be the one for me in the morning!!!

1st Spot: A ladder stand right on the edge of bedding area. Its mostly Greenbriars with a few small oaks in the mix(rabbit hunting area). This area is used all year long but deer dont usually get seen until November. I have killed a few bucks from this area and all but one after November. The trails and always crazy heavy in here...!! Its one of those spots where you cant hunt the wind because deer will come from anywhere???? 5 sits this year....2 Morning sitsseen 1Buck, 1ButonBuck,2??.....3 Evening sits....1doe, 1Button Buck, and 1???

2nd Spot: It is an area that in the past has never really been productive for deer sightings. This year though has probably been one of my better "hot-spots" because of a 2-3yr old clear cut not 100yrds across the creek/boundary line?? It is a nice White/red oak flat that has a creek 60yrds downhill from my climber. This spot has trails everywhere, but like I said earlier no sign of any Buck activity?? Then again the whole area doesnt have any?? I have not went a day hunting here this year without seeing any deer, but then again every sit has been EVENING??
3 sits this year and seen 2bucks, 3 doe, and 1??... so whatcha think????

OK SO LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU WOULD HUNT IN THE MORNING FROM WHAT I JUST DESCRIBED TO YOU? THE TREE WITH THE MOST VOTES GETS ME IN IT IN THE MORNING!!!!

Number 1........you want sights where bucks are looking for bedding does. I would recommend if the wind is right, putting out some doe scent.

Went out this morning and tonight, just got home. This morning seen a glimpse of a decent buck, unsure it's true size, then about 20 min. later had a 6 pointer at 5 yards, but I don't think we want 50"-60"..to early for that. Then tonight seen nothing. I am LOVING these 75 degree daysfor the "rut"....[:'(]Supposed tobe like this all week, which really sucks.

Hey guys. I've been out a few times. Haven't seen anything w/horns on it, but did whack a big doe a couple of weeks ago. So that felt pretty good getting at least on in the freezer. Hopefully this week it'll be better. I'm hearing stories that they're out there now chasing. I'm hoping to be out several times this week & taking a day off work for hunting. Heres a pic of my doe.
