Contest Brings Bad Luck???
#11

I haven't taken a Buck since joining the contest either but it's only cause I have let many walk.... After 52 years of Bowhunting, I have no problem letting the younger ones walk & going without. A big fat Doe has filled the bill for meat just fine the last few years & I let them walk for over 20 until a couple years ago....

My "bad luck"......
My 2nd buck taken has been my best for the two years I've entered. Doesn't do my team much good....lol...but I had extenuating circumstances with each entry (one was my first deer, ever.....and the second was an injured buck). I don't regret taking either.....but I'd like for my entry, this year, to be my "best" for the season.....for once.

In 2006, i didnt enter the contest (well i couldnt have even if i wanted too
), and i shot my 6 point during my first bow season. Then last year i entered the contest and scored a big fat 0. I did take a nice doe for the freezer though.
