Can a deer be entered that was taken prior to that person being in the contest?? Just asking, for clarification purposes.

Yes, as long as it conforms to the rules.

If every one, had checked into their team.
There wouldn't be any alternates, or prior deer to count.

sounds like a pretty good strategy, frankly. Probably why most, if not all contests up in the north country require entry prior. Thanks for clearing up all the issues of late, However![:@]
