So when does everyones gun seasons start? I got early muzzleloader in October 18-19 and our modern gun goes from november 8-23

Yes, it is. I may take a day off work now and then to make a 3-day hunting weekend, but there is no reason to take a whole week off to hunt. I may do that for the rut. I don't like to burn through my vacation when I could just hunt every weekend for 2 and a half months.

ETA: Does that mean the contest can't end until I'm done on Jan. 1?

There was a UFC fighter who made fun of the whole toughguynickname thing by choosing funny ones. I can't remember his name but they introduced him as something like "and in this corner, John 'Blueberry Muffin' Smiiiiiiith!" He kicked the crap out his opponent.

I like "Tree Huggers." I made a team logo we could use. If you like it, I'll add our team name.

Saskabush checking in. Sorry I'm late, I've been away working for a while.

I've already shot my whitetail here in Alberta :). Unfortunately, it was a bow kill so I can't enter it here. I still have a antlered mulie tag and a Saskatchewan whitetail hunt so hopefully I can put some points on the board.

Treehuggers works for me. I'll do the captain thing if no one else volunteers but only if there's nobody else who would rather do it.

Hi all,

I shot my Alberta mulie yesterday morning. There was a bigger typical in the area but he disappreared after he shed his velvet. This guy was looking pretty good yesterday morning. I've posted pics and score on the score card thread. Here is a few field pictures.

I'm done deer hunting now until my Sask whitetail hunt inNovember but i've got some buddies that i'll be taking out for whitetails and some guiding in november so hopefully i'll have some pictures to post as the fall rolls on. Good luck all.
