hey guys jus checkin in...good to see chris is on the board....im jus waitin for nov. 15th.....so close..but yet sooo far away!....i have been seeing alot of shooters here in iowa....jus isnt workin out...either they wont come in range or they come in range but there is too much brush or bad angles.......ugh....its really ticking me off...biggest deer i have seen so far....is about a 180" 6 by 6 that my friend missed!...we got it on tape...so thats kinda cool...but really sucks!!!!!

well i missed one sat. night.. went back sunday and saw it and it ran off as i was about to shoot it.. [couldnt see antlers]

then saw a good 4pt about 300 yards

should get one sat...hopefully..anyway

no one with any luck? i guess my chances of improving on my 10 point is over. i ended up shooting a smaller 7 point last weekend. here in Florida we can shoot 2 bucks a day every day but bycontest rules only the biggest of the first 2 bucks you kill count. i will still be hunting for more bucks and will keep ya'll posted. i'm hoping to shoot 4 more this year. last year i shot 4 and run out of venison before this hunting season. if i can kill 6, this should keep my family with venison until next season.

i just noticed they took away my score since i forgot to have my gun in the picture. i've already killed 2 bucks this year, my second smaller than the first so i did not get pictures of it. i guess i'm out of the competition[:@]

Nice job PT . sorry i havent been around i have been hard at it with the BOW and shot gun opened on the 14th so i have plenty of time i am still hunting this big ten i had him at 200+ yrds the other night when he bedded down in the middle of a CRP feild right across the way..never got up..

wow.. i finally "leagly" got off my restriction..

and still havent taken a deer[:@]i've missed, scared and been smelled..

ok ....layed down a broken rack 6 pointer (no brow tines) ...not gonna score big, but I still have muzzleloader in a few weeks ...score to follow .....

BTW, how do you do inside spread woth a broken rack like this?

No buck here in Wisconsin yet. Passed on some that just weren't quality bucks. I hope to put something down in the next week. If not I will head to the CWD zone to shoot something there.

Well PT your makein me look stupid usally i kill a good amount of deer with a gun, but i have take 3 with a bow this year...still have some time..

Thanks BH ... woulda liked him to be a little bigger in rack ....his body was real big! Put alot of meat in the freezer ,,,, still have a chance to improve on him during muzzleloader/bow 2nd season .....weather will dictate what I take out ...

Now go shoot a monster!!:D

Thanks alot Tony..the weather is really a dictation of what i take out if its cold the gun comes out but i love hunting with the bow..but that buck im chaseing will make a mistake sooner or later and he will get shot:D..

So good luck hopefully we can both get some deer on the ground...(me more then you, you have 2 [8D])

i'm still around, but remember i screwed up and forgot to have my ML with my buck. once it was determined it didn't count (which it was counted for a little while), i had already shot a second buck. my second buck was smaller than my first buck so i didn't get pictures with it or have it scored since i thought my first buck was going to be counted (which it was at the time). when it was decided that my first buck was not going to count, it was too late. the rules say you only count 1 of your first 2 bucks, so i have been basically disqualified. i am still here though, keeping up with the teams progress. our deer season ends January 4th for my region, i could travel up state and hunt into February for deer though. our small game season don't end until March, so i am fixing to concentrate on wild hawgs (legal to take during small game).
