The name is David and Im in NC Oklahoma. Looking forward to a great hunting year.

The farmer that farms my hunting area sprayed for sunflowers this year so it will be easier hunting.

Our gun seasons are still quite some time away. Muzzy season is late october and gun is late november into december.

Our trail cams are picking up alot of deer but so far no monsters. This is one of the bigger ones

hey, thats still a nice one. nice characteristics w/ the g-2.

Ive gota trail cam but ive never taken it out to the woods. I need to get it up and fill the feeder. maybe this weekend if it doesnt rain.

Those monsters are just waiting to come out during season. they dont want to get your hopes up.:D

No joke....thats awesome!

I talked to one farmer friend today i can hunt on and we are going to be putting down some seed sometime soon. Its been raining here last couple days and we are expecting more before sunday. Im going to put the camera up there to see what is coming in.

I had a feeder there last yr but never hunted it. didnt have a camera on it either. It will be interesting to see whats ther.

Lucky 13.... It may be an ohmen!! These are some pictures of a shed we found two years ago. He made it through last year and is still running around. We named him Lucky 13, maybe I can catch up to him to him this year.

Hi guys,

Just checking in again. My gun season starts on Saturday with our early ML season then a week later our rifle season starts. I sometimes kill an October buck, but 90% of my bucks are shot during Thanksgiving week. That is our peak rut and I have some time off from work.

Hey guys.......sorry I am WAY late......hope I havent gotten the boot!! LUCKY 13......sounds great to me! I have been busy filming for the wife and getting some stand time myself. So far I have killed a nice doe and seen several others.....but here are a few I am after followed by my bow kill from last november.......

Late winter 06 pic but my buddy thinks that he glassed him one night this summer........he is my main focus.....have seen him one time in 07.....he is a giant....

Another buck that we nicknamed hoss......great buck......only seen one time running away and by neighboring hunters.....



Here is a buck that we nicknamed "DT", runs the same farm with hoss from above....never seen him.....



And finally, here is my best buck that I took last year at the same farm thatDT and HOSSrun, maybe relation.......


I hope that I can be lucky enough to be in the right place on opening morning....lord knows I will be in early with my T/C Encore in tow and dialed in! By the way my name is brad and I will be checking back soon! Good luck everyone!

There are some good deer around my part of the country. I have got to put it all together now.....I will be ready and dialed in....just have to be in the right place at the right time now. Got some cameras out and running so I will post more pics as I get them. Good luck guys!

I'm off to South Dakota late this week to hunt 11/1 - 11/5. I have a WT tag and a MD tag so hopefully I cn get a nice one. I'll keep you guys posted.

Scored on this buck with my bow on 10-24-08 at about 7:50 in the morning. He came in on a rope as he headed back to his bedding cover......luckily, I ruined his plans!! Don't worry......there are plenty much bigger bucks on my farms!! Haha...he's a nice bow buck for me. Just thought I would share.

Got any goodies in your area?

I was out this past sunday dureing our ml season. Saw a couple of small bucks, but nothing I wanted to get my hands dirty with. Hopefully others around me will feel the same way in a couple weeks.

I can't say I have anything here to brag about. One good thing is that I can take multiple deer. Tough thing is that I hunt public land so, the gun season is a bit of luck.

I won't have much of a selection however, I'll get as many inches as I can (hold the jokes)!... or let them rip...

Over the weekend I did find a huge set of buck rubs. Tallest I have ever seen on trees and on smaller pines, he ripped them to shreds. I know there are at least two other hunters in the area however, I may get a crack at him. If so, I don't plan on missing.
