just in case you guys didn't notice - does are count towards total team score - 25 pts. It looks like you can enter one doe. I know i will be after one thursday thru sunday. I am heading to northern MN in an intensive harvest area, so i should get a shot at a doe - and hopefully a buck.

Good luck all.

25 points for a doe is a good deal. I've shot bucks that score less than that.

Good luck, trig.

Nice buck, Whack. Here's hoping you get an equivalent one during the firearms season. Don't forget to get pictures of you, deer, and gun together, as well as a tag picture. And hey, you can enter that doe right away!

Well - firearms season ends today here in MN and unless a big one walks by the window i am done. I did have some success with taking a doe friday afternoon on a push. We pushed about a 10 acre chunk of woods that had i believe 10 deer came out. The first deer out was a beautiful 140+ inch - i thought. As it got closer i noticed that he only had one side to his rack. I got a great look as i watched him run by at about 30 yards and he would have been my biggest buck to date. Maybe next year he will come by with the full set of headgear. Any how shortly after the buck came out he was followed by a pile of does and fawns. I picked out the biggest doe beared down and let one fly at her. I took two more shots and she was piled up. I have the pics on my camera i will post them soon.

As a group we took three deer on that single drive and that would be the only ones taken over the weekend. Everything was slow on stand and i only saw 2 deer on stand from thurs to fri.

I still have 16 days of smoke pole starting the weekend after t-giving to tag a buck, so don't give up on me yet.
