im heading out to wyoming and montana on the 12th and will be gone until the 21st. Im strictly hunting mule deer in montana unless i see a huge whitetail and im going whitetail hunting in wyoming. ive going out to wyoming for the past 10 years. this is my first time going to montana. well wish me luck and hope i bring some points home for us.

Haha i know what you mean. I was on a bow team and that died down to. I ended up getting 2 does couldnt help my team but my first bow kills. I was excited. My cousin just got a nice 6 point behind my house on youth day. Would of loved to get the deer not very big but weird rack. went 147 pounds

not bad for a 6 pointer. My nephew got a nice 8 last year that weighed 145. It was his first buck too! I took him out for youth season here in Indiana 2 years ago and he ended up shooting a really nice doe within 2 hours of us being out. Perfect heart shot at that! lol. She ended up expiring in a flooded ditch, and I could barely see her fur because she was under the water. Thank God for heavy blood trails lol.

Hey yall. I sorta forgot about this contest, im always at the bow hunting one.

Im Andrew, you may call me AJ if you wish. (Andrew Joe Pope)
Im from Iowa. I was at full draw on a monster buck this past weekend but the darn thing went behind a brush pile so there was no shot. We saw 10 bucks (6 of which were 120+, 2 140s, and 1 160+) and we saw about 40+ does. About 30 of them were with the bucks we saw. i probably really wont be in this thread much, but if I get a deer I sure will share.

hey AJ good luck on getting one of those monsters. I sure hope you do! I hope I see something this year lol. I saw a 150 class 8 pointer awhile ago close to my brothers house. It was awesome!!!

Hey guys, sorry I was out of town.
Is it too late for you to ask for another alt? I just got the notification (was working out of town), and I'm already tagged out from archery.
They may make an exception since I found out about this 2 days before season ends, I have no tag left, and my vacation week is already used.

Sounds good, bow season is still going on here. Shotgun season doesn't open till December 6th.

I have a week left here for firearm season. So far I dont have a deer lol. I guess if I dont get one, theres always muzzleloader season.

I got abouta week left to. Im going to hit the stand all day tomorow im hopeing Id like to get one in the morning so i dont have to sit all day but ill take anything. I saw 7 this morning on the way to the storeI should have been out. They were all on posted land but it was nice to see them. Well guys I didnt have to sit on stand all day shot one this morning at 8:45 pics and story to come. Hes not big by any means but my biggest yet

The story is i was sitting in the treestand just had stood up to stretch then sat back down and i heard somthing walking. I thought it was a squirl didnt pay much attention to it. Then i looked over and saw him just wondering threw the woods at about 80 yards. I waitied for a good shot and took it. He went 60 Yards and crashed. My biggest deer to date that makes 3 for the year. Thats a hard task for being in vermont. Im not sure exactly how to score him might need some help with that boys. good luck to everybody.

Well its nice to see some deer getting taken, even if they cant be entered. Congrats =]

Congrats on that 4 pointer too! If I see a 4 pointer, Im taking him because I only have 6 days left including today.

Congratz on the fine bucks you two.
I also got a buck. A buttonbuck that I mistook for a doe.
It might be a bit hard to score him lol. We are able to put doe tags on buttonbucks so no worries. I also shot this with my bow.I still have a couple tags left.
Im going to arkansas tomorrow for some deer and bear hunting. Ill be using a shotgun for that so if I geta buck its going on the scoreboard.
