Sorry, have not been on our tread in awhile. I have spent a week in the Chambers CountyTexas area in a community called Anahauc helping them dig out from hurricane Ike. Can not even begin to explain the devestation that is on the Northeastern Coast of Texas.
Nick, you got my vote for team captain. As for a name I like Caught In the Crosshairs. Got to show you this pic of a coastal hiway from High Island Texas to Port Boliver. The stretch is 24 miles and there were homes all along this hiway just like the one left standing.

Sid by all means man you are forgivin. Wow i knew it was bad down there but that really puts it in perspective. All of my thoughts and prayers to you guys down there. You say you went down to that area where in Texas do you live? Did you get any damage from it?
Way to step up and help out man if there were more people like you in this world it would be a better place.
Also thanks for the Capt vote. Be safe!

My wife an I live in the heart of Texas. My son and his in-laws live on the coast where the eye of Ike went through. We went down there to help them and the area community of Chambers County. Spent five days there pulling carpet out of flood damaged homes and hauling dabre off. We also hauled food supplies and generators. FEMA came on Tuesday with supplies that really helped out. Lots of poor fishing communities without insurance there. Hard working, Godfearingfolks that banded together to start cleaning up.
