Great new years... a few too many myself... had the wife to drive though. Will be out on the ice after some pic this upcoming weekend. something to look forward to. I hate the postseason... Can't wait till spring turkey. I hope you all signed up for the spring turkey contest...

depression from season being over is already kicking in... gonna head out ice fishing for pike & tiger muskies w/ a bunch of guys Sat. Drink some beer & cook some Moose meat up...

Our season ends on the 18th; so I'm going to try to go hunting on the weekend of the 16th-18th to see if I can contribute to both the point count and the freezer.

good luck omarrh. my season got over the 4th. now its rabbit and coyote hunting for me. sorry guys that i couldnt help out this year

Just ice fishing here... will sneak out for some coyotes here and there as well.

i got 3 coyotes monday night and 1 tonight. they're everywhere on our land. maybe thats a reason i havent been seeing many deer this year

no camera. we didnt have a camera with us that time. i'll be sure to take a camera with us next time. i was supposed to go today but school got cancelled and its -40 degrees here. im not kidding you about that.

I think I would pass on the -40 myself... i love shooting those dogs... just love seeing them dead. We only get a couple a year... just not that good at hunting them I guess...

do you call them or bait them?

I have been cooking up a ton of moose meat... Esp. burger & cube steaks... God, this stuff is the best!
