Hey guys, I have been out of touch for the last few days, just getting home and getting caughtup around the house (thanks to hurricane IKE)....I will be leaving in the morning to head out to our place in West Texas forsome bow hunting for the week, I will be back Friday or Saturday and will give you guys a report....Hope all is well with everyone!!!

It's been too hot up here in IL to do much of anything hunting wise so I went to northern MN to do some fishing for a week. I'll get to Wallmart tomorrow for my archery tags as it's finally starting to cool off. Going out to the club phesant hunting for the morning tomorrow. I found out that the shotgun season for deer is going to bearound the 20th of Nov. this year.I sure hope it won't bea week too late but I'll bet it will be. I'll just have to hunt hard the week before with my bow. Between that and duck hunting I have a hard time finding time for work.Good luck to all of you!!! Oh, by the way, I've been seeing more young bucks around than ever before. My taking alot of does out of the herd might be paying off. It also keeps the freezer nicely stocked.

im still deciphereing how im gonna hunt these too big buck on my property theve been together when seen on my driveway next to the corn and bean feilds im not even sure witch one is larger but ive name them: Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid
i hope i get one of them before my brother does with his bow
