Guys, I didn't mean it like that and you know it ;)[8D].
I'm not taking ANYTHING away from Greg's buck. It was phenomenal. I'm just stating, look in years past. This year was out of the trend. |
RE: The Top 20 Contest bucks......Where they lived
Just pulling your chain, man.
You're right though.......... while a 170s buck is a great buck, especially for a typical, I was also expecting something bigger to show up. Usually, in a contest like this a non-typical should usually win top spot. It goes to show how rare they are. With almost 500 people from all over the US and Canada entered into this contest, it proves my earlier thread, location included ;).................. A 160s buck is a top end buck, after that the air starts to get thin. We were definately down from last year. |

Wonder how many guys took a second buck that would have made the list but had already entered a contest buck?? My second buckmay have squeeked in there. |

Awesome job guys. Nice to see the break down.
Thanks for pulling this together Matt. |

It is interesting that the "rankings" of states is not closer in line to the national tally. I would have guessed more from Idaho, Minnesota, Texas, Kentucky, etc.
Congratulations Gregh, biggest buck out of 400ish contestants... that is a real accomplishment!!! |
