I think you may be right.....But I also thing the nimrod that scored it had no idea what he was doing, and it will actually go more than that.....by ...oh.....a good 3 inches or so.....Guess that's still smaller than 171 though eh? *SIGH* [&o]

While a 170s is a good score for a typical I'd expect a bigger one, espicially using the gross score. A decent non-typical will smoke that. I'm surprised that mine has lasted as long as it has![:-]

MK M GOBL has shot a nice 165 6/8 also.

Well mobow I don't know how anyone will top 171 6/8 this late in the season let alone Tribals deer. Oh ya by the way do you have any bruisers left down yer way that a silly old Iowa boy could come shoot???? You really tore it up this year my hat is off to you.....
