Still haven't heard from that guy about our avatar, he might be real busy bow hunting and hasn't had a chance to create one for us.

ORIGINAL: Illinois Buck Hunter

Has anyone heard anything about logos for avators yet?

Its Quiet toooo Quiet.

Got 3 new stands today, will be putting up friday/sat. Plus fixing one money spot that was out of commission last year due to a fallen tree. This was a spot we refer to as The Yellow Buck Road. 3yrs ago I saw the the biggest deer i have ever seen in the woods on the season opener...Running at my tree at 30yds. OF COARSE one of the seven does directly under me Blew, not sure if she had wandered down wind or if the shear sight of him scared her to death I know it did me.

Went back out to the farm today to check my cameras. Ended up with 24 pics on my 35 mm and will get them developed tomorrow. My digital camera had 6 pics on it so I left it out.

I am pretty excited though b/c around the 35mm (on the edge of a fresh cut corn field) there were numerous tracks that looked like a really big deer. Then around the digital one there was a runway of deer tracks crossing a creek.

Also found 3 more nice stand sites that I will be hunting early on in the year.

Got my pics back and that corn field was loaded with deer. Numerous does and fawns. Got a pic of a really nice looking 120 class 8 pointer that should be a dandy if he makes it a few more years. He was the biggest buck though.

Oh yea got about9 pictures of a huge green deere. Man that thing ate alot of corn. We nicknamed him John.

Well, Just got back from the farm a few minutes ago. Unfortunatley I didnt get any pics for you guys Had planned on taking them tommorrow but we ended up deciding to leave early. I'll get plenty during season.
Everything looks very promising. The Farm I hunt is in CRP and Tree program, but lucky this year is a corn year and we are surround by corn on al sides except one which is alfalfa with corn on the otherside of it. While puting up a few stands we saw countless deer driving in, during and driving out. We saw a total of 9 bucks today. 7 of them will be real nice next year or so all about 120 class. 1 shooter bout 150 and the last while driving out a true monster...Booner for sure. Got me goin cant wait.

Got a nice picture of a decent 9 pointer, and found quite a few rubs already. Also got a small 1 acre biologic field planted today.

I'm getting pumped up for next month, can't wait to get out there and put one down.
