I've sent an PM to (his user name escapes me) but ask him for some ideas on avators for our team. He makes alot of them for other teams as well. So far, I haven't heard from him...

Do we have a logo to put on our avators???

This has got to be the least talking team out of the 48. I try to say something at least once a day just to keep us on the 1st page.

Personally, Sept 29 seems like it's light years away right now and it feels kind of empty to justkeep posting that I found another stand sight or saw another decent buck.

The only hunting related thing I've got is that I picked up a book called "Mapping Trophy Bucks" by Brad Herdon. I've never believed there was a substitute for scouting, but this book really is excellent. If any of you guys hunt big tracts of public land that you might not havethe time to thoroughly scout by foot, this book offers a number of different ways to think aboutland masses and deer movement. Some of them are the obvious stuff we've learned since day one, but others are thingswehunters might overlook from time to time. If you any ofyou guys are in the boat I am, of huntingsome big public land, I'd encourage you to check for it atthe bookstore or the library.

Good looking buck. I would have to take him with my first tag unless I had seen several bigger bucks in the area.

We have a Delaware guy right? How did opening weekend go? Even if you've got nothing on the ground, let us live vicariously through you.

Got my days off from workfor early November so I will definantly be in the woods Nov. 3-5,7,9-11. These are just the days that I will be sitting in the tree for the majority of the day at my best stands. I will of course be hitting some other areas before these dates.

I'm going down tomorrow to order me some new arrows to put in my hunting quiver and maybe pick up some new camo or a standthat I probably don't need.
