Well I'm all bucked out in Illinois for the year. Killed this guy on thursday evening, first night of our second gun season! Got him out of the same stand as my bow buck.

Nice buck Ill Buck!!! You've had quite a season too.

My season officially comes to an end this coming Sunday. I'm having surgery on Monday. 10-12 inches of incisions. Then a week from Monday I'm having a second surgery (one more 4 inch cut). Should be an interesting 8 days for me [X(]

later...

That's a nice buck ILL BUCK. Illinois is producin like usual. That's too bad RackLuster. I wish you good luck with the surgery and a quick recovery. With the time off you can really scout hard, unless the surgery enables you to, and get ready for next season.

Well fellas, my season is at an end. I had a couple close encounters on two different bucks this weekend. One was a young buck that I could have easily shot, but he had one antler broken off, and was a young buck, soI passed. The other was a tall tined 8-point that gave me a great broadside view of his rump at 25 yards, but kept his vitals behind a little christmas tree for no shot oppertunity. He ended up winding me and the game was up.

Good luck to everyone who still has any season left!
