Season opened today in Ohio. Haven't been out and probably won't go out until mid week or a little later. All my stands have been out for months and there are deer everywhere. But the only problem is they are laying up in the corn most of the time. Where i hunt they should be shelling corn by mid to late week so that will put me in great shape for a decent couple of days. The deer are scared of farm impliments and i can afford a mistake of making noise if it happens. also my buddie will pass by and let me know if they see any big bucks in the corn :-)

Well I tried to make it three opening nights in a row here in Michigan but it didn't happen[:@]. Didn't have any luck during daylight. The only deer I saw during daylight was a white tail cruisen through some brush. Had a deer walk right underneath me but it was so dark I couldnt even see through my peep sight. On my walk out I came across several deer in my grandpas backyard which is right near where I park. I think they are hitting up the acorns hard there in the evening and I might set up my climber there tomorrow. They were snorting like crazy when they caught a glimpse of me. The deer that walked right under my stand during dark also snorted. I am a newer hunter and I have never experienced deer snorting, pretty weird sound

Im hitten the stand up in the morning. Anyone else go out tonight?

I'm pretty sury Monie and HunterT was out on there on Monday. I bet they are still lugging that big boy back to the truck. Waiting for a report from both of them.

I was out on Sunday morning before the rains came in. All I saw was a nice doe run pass me asI was climbing out of my stand. Might be able to do a Friday evening and Sunday evening hunt this coming weekend.
