Keep at it Jamie, you never know when a nice buck is going to make the mistake of coming in range!
I'll be back out tonight and tomorrow night in hopes of getting another shot at a buck, although I'm not too optimistic. Lots of does running around and hitting the fields hard right before dark, but the big dogs seem to be waiting until dark to come out. Might try a new spot tonight that I haven't been to in awhile, just to see how things look. Although that depends on how hard it's snowing. Might just stay home and drink some hot chocolate in front of the boob tube.

Jamie and to all on the team,
We gave it our best shot and we will go for it next year. Just wish we could keep our same team. Our Texas buck regular season in our county end today, I went out yesterday evening hoping to get one last shot at a doe. What was to happen I had never done bow hunting, stuck two Toms with a single arrow. One went down immediately and the other hopped away to the river and flew accross to the other side and crashed. Got accross the river and got him. That top off a great year of bow hunting. One I will remember for ever. I enjoyed our compitition, corrisponding with all of you, and sharing our hunts. Thanks for the memories! I am posting a pic of on of my friends New Years day Drop Tine Buck. He had been hunting him sense the start of the bow season in October.

Well guys,
Needless to say I was unable to harvest a deer this year. Between school and other things I was not even able to get out in the late season. I will be down with school this August and I can't wait. I know that this summer I will do a better job of scouting and finding new spots. To all who scored congratulations. It was fun talking with you all. Have a great off season!
