Way to go guys! I've been busy guiding elk hunts and going to college the last 30 days. Bucks are starting to chase pretty hard. Gun season comes in Saturday, so hopefully I can get a bowkill later this week. Its been awhile since I've ate a KY tag...[&:]I need to really bear down this month. Good luck guys and congrats to all of you guys that have scored!

Stay after it. Your chance will come. I am always bummed out the month of October, because the place I hunt the most with the quality bucks is only the month of November. I lost that big 8at mid Oct. that really got me down, sostay in the woods! We said we had a great team from the start and we have proved it. The team with "No Name" is hot! We need to keep that hot streak going. Here is a 2 and half year old 8 I took some video of this past Saturday. He is going to be a nice deer in two more years.

Sid, thats gona be a heck of a buck in a couple years! Great potential. I meant to tell you, I was in Bandur, South Africa a couple weeks ago working on a new concession. Theres 2 Nyala bulls on it that I might just write a check for!

PSE do they have any Waterbuck bulls as good as yours? I might just write a check for one! Did you hunt any while you were there? Man that SA hunting gets in your blood. My hunt was as free range as it gets. A lot of people think that it is a canned hunt. That is not true! I was on a 70,000 acre Askari and all open mountain range. You must have a exciting career, you guide Elk hunts and fly off to SA. What a deal! I would like to go on an Elk bow hunt sometime, you need to hook me up.
Here is a pic of my wife and cheeke the Jack Russell, best Nyala dog in Africa.

I guide hunts in eastern KY at Elk Country Outfitters for the lucky few that get drawn for tags. Its a little to dry for good waterbuck bulls on the concession, but has good wildebeest bulls and some world class nyala. I didnt hunt, just helped manage some business at the new lodge.

GaHeadHunter scored! Not a very big buck (guessing around 50"?), but it looks like you guys don't need much help. He'll be posting it later on. We still gotta score it.
