See the revised score for your team guys...there was an error and the correct score now reflects an additional 9 inches.....one never knows.

I'm glad to see we are all here Justin will be soon from what I see we have a pretty good team. Pse your buck grew a couple inches the last few days I didnt know the drying period added inches.lol

I think the team no name is pretty cool if you guys decide on that name we will need an avatar.

Were did you guys hunt in Africa I think it would be a trip of a lifetime. The owner of the Bow shop I frequent went and he said it is just plain beautiful.

A few short weeks and we all will be out enjoying what pse already has.

My wife and I saved for three years to take this trip to Komga South Africa with Kubusi Safaris. We hunted the Askari Wildlife Region. It covers 240,000 acres. The hunting was incredible. I would have loved to have taken more animals with my bow, but on a seven day hunt and a quest to take the grand slam spiral horn (Nyala, Kudu, Cape Eland, and Bushbuck) it was not possible. It was a dream come true, got the SCI Record Book Nyala on the first days hunt, the 51 inch Kudu and SCI Record Bushbuck on the second day, my wife took a #4 SCI Record Blesbuck on the third day and I harvested a nice Impala Ram, hunted three more days hard and got a SCI Record Springbuck with my Switchback, on the sixth day I completed the quest for the Grand Slam and took a 1850# Cape Eland Bull. This hunt was all free chase and mostly in the Mountain Range of the Askari. It was like hunting in New Mexico after a good rainy season. The Country was green and alive with animals. Could not have had a better host as James and Megan Williamson of Kubusi Safaris, food and spirits were magnificent and the accomadations were wonderful. I want to return on a ten day bow hunt and try to stick a great Waterbuck like PSE got, what a magnificent trophy!

Hey guys, just got back from a week long cruise to Alaska and wanted to check in before I was considered offiically dead.

I'll check things out a bit more tomorrow and see if we can't come up with a team name. And congrats to pse - way to put us on the board early!

I told Todd he's not allowed in the contest this year because last year he shot a nice buck with his bow and never even scored it for the contest! I have to finish unpacking and doing a few things and then I plan on checking my e-mail so I know what I'm in for tomorrow morning.

How about Fall Fanatics for a team name ... just a suggestion , if you guys still want to go with "Team No Name" then may I suggest your logo should have " Team # 1 in the center with some antlers or maybe bow and arrows.

Glad to have you on the team. I was in the same situation some seven years ago. Raised two boys on my own. At the time my oldest was just graduating High School and my youngest was juststarting the eighth grade. Put them both through College and met the women of my dreams. She loves to hunt! Only problem is, she can out shoot me. So there is new life out there. You will find it if you keep your spirts high and your kids in your heart.

Team With No Name has kinda grown on me the last few days. I would like to keep it, but what ever the team decides will be fine with me.

jamiebuck - hang in there bud, things get rough sometimes but in the end it will all work out. As part of our team you're official a brother now, so if you ever need anything feel free to PM, e-mail, call, or send smoke signals.

I really don't have any hunting updates as of late. I'll be taking a trip down to West Central IL this weekend to hang a few stands and play around with the video camera, so I should have an update after that.Oh, and I'll be checking my trailcams too. Hopefully I get a few more pix of this guy.

Still here! Not much to talk about. Getting things ready for September 29th opening day in Texas. Our Dove Season starts this Saturday. Lots of hunters in our area. It generates a lot of income for our county. Some of the best dove hunting in the state. We have huge numbers of White-Wings this year. Love those dove with a jalapina' in the middle, wrapped with bacon and cooked on the pit.

Temps are gona start dropping here in KY for this weekends bow opener. Im leaving campus & heading back hom Saturday morning after a dove hunt in W. KY, and have Sat evening, Sunday & Labor day to make something happen with whitetails.
