Way to go Justin! What a nice buck. I leave for South Texas in the morning, will have three full days of hunting. Hope I can put us in the lead. Everyone say a Fred Bear prayer and wish me luck.

Well guys no luck on the firstday out but had few turkeys in the am and 7 doe in the pm. We will see what happens tommorrow. Good luck fellows I will keep ya all updated and hopefully the rest of us will score..

Well, he's not as big as some bucks that I've taken and to be quite honest, he fooled me a little and I misjudged him. However, he's a beautiful 2 1/2 year old. He has a really nice frame with long main beams but hes really thin and his tine length is weak. He nets a shade over 100. I would have let this buck walk 9 out of 10 times but I rattled him in just after daylight yesterday and he came in with the hair standing straight up on his back and his ears pinned back. He walked up to 12 yards and I just couldnt resist. I'm not sure exactly how to enter him for our team but I've scored him and I have all of the measurments. They go as follows:

Nice job!!! Who cares about the score, as long as you're happy that's all that really matters.

Post the same thing you did here (measurements and photos) in the Official Score Card thread and Rob will take care of entering him for our team.

I will be in the woods tomorrow morning and it should be a BEAUTIFUL morning. Clear skies and cold temps will hopefully have the deer moving alot. I have not been out for 2 weeks and reading all of your post has really got me thinking that tomorrow is going to be a good day!!!

ALL RIGHT another one joins the cheering section. Nice buck wvOHIOfan. Congrats. It's not the size that matters its the fun in getting it. ( so my wife says.) lmao. Team is doing good so far. I think us and one other team has 4 so far.
