Ed that is great. I am sure most of our bucks are out of Velvet as well. Last year I got that 3 point with Velvet because it was my first ever chance. It just doesn't happen often in WI. Good luck with your big one Saturday evening. I hope he does stay on that summer pattern for just another few days for you.

I will be shooting the new G5 Strikers this season. I just decided on that last nite.

2 more days till my opener!I hunt in New Hampshire where I live also I have an aunt who owns an apple orchard in mass that I hunt,I also hunt in sw pa on some private farms so starting saturday I'll be busy for the next 3months lots of free time this year to be on stand so i'm excited.How many of us start hunting saturday?

I'll be in the stand tomorrow. Not able to shoot a buck yet but I will be after a doe to earn that buck tag. Should be a fantastic morning for it. Low of 33 when I head to my stand. High today of up 50's and high tomorrow of 62.

Sounds like great weather... I might be gettin a little bit of rain in the am... but cooling off nicely in the evening... should make em move... Now the question is do i shoot the 125-130" deer if it comes... or wait for the 150"[]
