Checking in from the buckeye state. This will be my 12th year bowhunting andI have been seeing some decent deer. I am married with 2 children so I split my time between hunting and the family. Vikesfan, are we gonna go with the "GOT BUCKS?" team name?

Got Buck's was last yearsgun contestteam name, so I'm thinking we need a new one!!Team "Got Bucks"did manage 2nd place in the gun contest even though I didn't help much! I shot a spike on state land!!

I'll be hunting 2 big bucks,an 8pt, anda 10pt, both are 130ish class bucks, so thats what I hope to put down!! I got mobo'd(skunked) last year with a bow in the buck department, but did manage a nice doe!!

hey guys i hunt PA my 3rd year hunting havent got any deer yet but this year is the year i got my eye on a big 8 and a 9 the 8 is around 150 from what ppl said pics are on the trialcam forums if u wanna see

Hey guys, BigDaddy here! I am from South Eastern Mn, and I hunt a ton. Our season runs from the middle of September, to December 31st. Married with a ten year old step son, and a 15 year old son that lives in North Dakota with his Mom. I dont many BIG bucks on the land that I hunt, (Only 10 Acres), but I did manage to get me a nice 125" buck last year, who is on my wall.:DI was on team Double XX the last two years, so hopefully I can bring out team some good luck.;)As far as team names, I love all of the ideas above, and I think the pictures are awesome!
Well, past my bed time, so I had better hit the hay, I will try and check in every day!!! If this works, this is my deer from lastyear, I missed 2 chances with my bow, and anded up getting him with my shotgun, but he is the best buck I have ever taken, so I am very proud of him!!:D

Pops423 Checking in here. I live and hunt in Western PA (north of Pittsburgh). Most of what I will be hunting will be in the 100" range. There are a few occasional bucks that wander thru that push 130-140" so you never know. My schedule is up in the air right now as far as how much I'll get to hunt in archery. If you go back and search on Backyard Bucks and my username, you should get a look at what I've seen the last 3 years. So far this year, I've yet to spot the big boys. I do have a 6 point that is 18+ and has main beams that are about 22" long However, in my area of PA, I'm under a 4 point on one side minimum, so he will not be legal.:(

I like the graphics and team names as well. Not sure I care for the Rackillaz but that just me. I do like the others. I'll try to come up with something as well.

I agree, that's why I came up with the rackowboyz! I just figured I'd leave it up to see what ya'll had to say about it!! I'm kind of partial to the Arrow warriors with the black background, but I'd like to here some ideas from the rest of the team!!

Bears are my least favorite of the NFC North teams!! I'm a diehard Vikes fan, then the Pats, the Pack, the Lions, and the Bears. I just really love football!! Only team I hateis the Cowgirls!

Greeting Team 2 5 members. I am fortunate enough to be hunting 3 states 1- lifetime hunting lic in NY just moved to 2-BUCKS county Pa. 3- and for our honeymoon hunting in Illinois Nov 10th-16th with the Mrs. I must out score her she is on team 39.

As for a team name I have been think since I signed up, trying to think of something original

How about Nock Busters? Just came to me as I was shooting off my deck roof at lunch. I heard that familiar sound and when I checked, I had busted a nock. Gotta love it when the bows are shooting good.

Speaking of bows, what's everyone shooting? My main bow this year will be a Hoyt MT Sport. My backup, which will make the trip occasionallyis a Mathews Outback. Why the 'Hoyt' you ask over the Mathews? Because it just fits me so well. The Outback was given to me after my Dad won it in a contest. He had just bought a new Hoyt that year and didn't want to set it up so he passed it on to me. It's just never fit me right. I have it shooting well, but I still love the feel of the Hoyt.

Anyway, I'll post some pictures later on today. Gotta run and help some customers.

PS, I do like Team Tall Tines and Arrow Warriars with the black background.

In my area of PA, you have to have 4points on one side, it's a shame I'd have to pass this buck....

I like the Team Tall Tines one with the full deer in it, or the Nock Busters one. I like the corn field in the back ground. So vikesfan, where in Mn did you live?? Born and raised in Austin myself, but spent a little time in Faribault, and some in farmington. I am shooting a PSE Fireflight this year.

Ditto. I just finished hanging a few more stands tonight. Usually I have them outbefore August but the muggy weather was killer towards the end of July.I think I am going to put 2 more out yet. Maybe I will try and get some pics of my setups once the season starts. I shoot a Hoyt Trykonwith Gold Tip XT Hunters topped off with a Muzzy MX-3 100 grain.

I'm not sure, but I would think at least another week or two.

Most peoples seasons don't start until at leastmid september, so I would think we have to give them a fair chance to show up!! I sent PMs, with a link to our thread, to all team members that weren't here a few days ago, so if they come to HNI they'll know about our team!

When and how long do all your seasons go? In CT we have from Sept 15th until Dec 31 for the most part, but some areas of the state you can hunt until Jan 31st, so I have a long season to hunt!!

Last year I hunted 41 days, and I may hunt even more this year!!! I was after a certain deer, and saw it several times, but I never had a good shot at it. This year I'm going to be less picky, so I have a good chance at downing a buck!! I'll be big buck hunting the first month or so, but after that gun hunting starts, andI'll start hunting some state land, and down anything bigger than a fork!!

Vikesfan, nice work man.I vote for the Team Tall Tines. I like the 3rd graphic of the last set you did (that has the name Arrow Warriors on it). That one would look cool with all the team members names listed on the tress. what do you think? Maybe there's a font out there that looks like the names carved in the tress. Just thinking out loud here.

In Pa BUCK Hunting starts Sept 29th till sometime in January Pa is very bizzare to me I just moved here from NY which there season starts on Oct 13th till Nov 16th ...I am heading to ILLinois for 5 daysNov 10th to the 16th. I hope I dont have to wait till then to get my entry.

Unfortunately the picture is too big for an avatar,(its 13kb and 10kb is max)and it is near impossible to get one small enough to be allowed as an avatar, yet big enough that you can read the names!! I'll give it another try, but I'm thinking we may have to skip the member names!!

I added a smaller version as my avatar to see how it would show up, and so far it hasn't, so we'll see!! I also made one with that picture that just says team tall tines that is 9.98kb, so we may have to go with that, if all agree!!

Mr. October, Doe Season starts September 15th in some select areas. Then Archery starts Statewide for Buck and Doe on Sept 29th and lasts until November 10th. Then comes back in December 26th and runs until January 12th.

Hey guys, Mark Kezler from Illinois, have been watchin' 5-Booner class bucks on my property, but realize patterns are going to change once the beans start to dry. I've got several food plots up, hope'n I can connect early. Hope to add a significant Buck to the team!!!!!!!!!!
