Great story Quick. I started with traditional gear I shot 1 buck a nice 9 point with it then I got my first compound and never looked back. Someday I might pick it up again like if I tag my buck opening weekend and I need to get a doe the hardway.(lol) Hope everbody's holiday went well now it's back to the grind with only Turkey hunting to look forward to.

Cool story quick. Well guys, I'm thinking about adding a new bow to the family ;-)

Has anyone shot any of the new stuff? Not really sure what I'm going to do - if I should go middle of the road - like a Bear Truth OR something like one of the new Diamonds, Bowtechs, Mathews, etc. - which is going to be a couple hundred more bucks.... Currently I'm shooting a Switchback and really like it, but for my new bow I'd kinda like to try something different (not that I'm going to stop shooting my SB). Really like the Diamond Marquis - just wish it was a little shorter (it's 34 1/2)...

Well believe this or not this is how it went down.
I getup in mytree alittlelater than i would have liked.About 10min in to the hunt here comes a 6point.He walks by maybe 5min later here comes the 1 i mean the BIG BOY 170ish 20yards i shoot over his back[:@].I have been in the tree no more than 30min missed the buck of a life time and imgoing nuts im mad.I cant believe what just happend.Afew minutes later here come some does and a 130ish 8point is with them.Well guess what i shoot over his Back.Now im throwing F bombs what is going on?
I have never seen this many deer this fast.So About 15min later here comes some more does they just keep walking by the tree 1 2 3 4 alright theres a small 8 with them.Youknow what im thinking im going low this time thwack i got him.Thank god because i only carry 3 arrows.He ends up being a small 9. I know Befour i go back out im going to poke some holes in the odeer target.It would be a good idea don't u think?[&:]

I have 2 say this was on the military base that has been closed all season.They just open it up. 2 of my buddies were with me they both got a doe.There was a guy about 150 yards in frount of me that shot a 125ish 8 point.
