They are really starting to move here this should be a pretty good weekend I expect 1 more buck to come off my place this weekend.My neighbor was out last night and he said "It was like watching lesbians it was fun but he didn't get any." He saw 3 shooter bucks in 2 hrs. all just out of range and non-responsive.

Hahaha i love it, simply can not wait for this weekend, so far this year ive shot a deer every other weekend, Opening weekend, doe tag one, 2 weeks later, doe tag 2, This weekend should put me about due, and ive only got one tag left!

I appreciate everyones interest in my Wisconsin hunting.. however I have left wisconsin and am hunting my home state of Illinois. I have 2 buck tags burning into my pocket. I've passed alot of 1.5 yr. olds and a decent 2.5 yr. old. I'm looking for a 3 yr. old or bigger.

Well tomorrow is the official start of my next 3-day quest to bag a monster NY buck. If history proves itself right then it will be either sat. night or sun. morning. I personally dont care which day, just that it happens!!

This weekend is looking like some PERFECT weather for buck bucks, supposed to be crappy rain/snow tonight with 2 inches by morning, light snow in the morning as well. Zero winds...i am pumped!!

BTW quick: I saw a Lou Holtz pep talk on ESPN last night and just about pissed my pants thinkin about yours. hahaha

Hunted all day - public land,Ohioyesterday. Had 6 deer in range - 3 buck, 3 doe. Saw some heavy chasing/grunting. I passed up another nice 4x5. Maybe 16" wide, 100-115". May be one of the same bucks I saw before. Either way, I was barely able to lay off. Had him at 0-25 yards for 15 minutes. The other 2 bucks were smaller- 14" 3x4 and arunt 3 pointer - maybe the size of a smallshihtzu.

So far,my logbook shows 26 hunts, about 100 hours even in the stand, 63 deer, 22 antlered.
