OMG! Page 2 again. Going out tonight with one of my hunting partners to hang 2 stands for him. I try and get my stands up in July if I can. Some stands I already have an idea from the previous season of where Im placing them, and some I wait until I know there are some good buck in the area from glassing and or trail cam pics..

My new land may not have a tree tall enough for a stand. At least on one side. Maybe a ground "natural blind" The other side is hardwoods. I'm gonna figure out some stand locations as soon as I can track the owner down and have him sign this slip. He's a nice guy, I don't doubt the permission at all...he's just a busy guy!

OMG was watching some morning show in my bosses office a few minutes ago where a NBA player S. Marbury, was comparing what Micheal Vic did with deer hunting and how no one makes a big deal about deer hunting. Some rep from PETA actually said there is no comparison, people purposely train dogs to kill and rip each other apart in a pit in an illegal betting ring. She still said hunting can be bad if the hunter is a "bad shot" but its not in the same realm as dog fighting.

Yeah thats been said a couple times by different folks. Jim had a couple threads shut down yesterday when he mentioned that on the board. At least PETA has our backs.
