The cool past few days has really made it feel like hunting season is upon us. The dry summer will help dove numbers in a big way this year. We usually limit out pretty easily though regardless. And hunting what our state calls :resident geese" is pretty easy in the begining of the season as they havent been shot at, but by the end of the season all the resident geese are smarter than migratory birds and stick to gold courses and places they dont get shot at.

I got access to 85 acres this week. Owner is going to show me around on Friday. Try to find a stand location, set up a trailcam, etc. I will let let everyone know how it looks this weekend.
