I saved the avatar to my computer just like the last one and have tried to upload it to my profile. I get the confirmation message that the upload was successful but it isn't showing up. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Yeah you need to click "apply" all the way at the bottom of the page after it uploads successully, and then click "ok" all the way at the bottom after you click "apply". Then you are good to go. try that and let us know.

Hey ya'll are doing a bang-up job keeping us up top. Diesel you need the exposure run that post count up. I've been on here a long time and my post count is still relatively low in comparison to others.

I'd love to hunt waterfowl too just have never had the chance. It would be nice to tag out early in both States just to see what else I'd get in too.

Firemed..I had all kinds of trouble with this avatar..I had to save it as a paint bitmap to be able to use it??

Gr8 doesn't Ohio have an early goose season?

Pa started years ago and its a great time, find a combined oats field that they are feeding in and get there in the dark, put some decoys out and lay rightbetween them. You can use a skeet gun because the birds are trying to land on you.

Its hard to believe how many newbies can miss something as big as a goose at ten feet. Its a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im with ya there Jim. Goose hunting is TONS of fun. Sometimes I get so wrapped up in bow hunting and being by myself I forget how much fun it can be hootin and hollering with some friends banging away at geese and doves. Early goose season is only 9 days away.

Yeah I think it comes in Sept 1..or there-abouts. We hired a guy in Maintenance who I worked with years ago. He's a big Waterfowl guy and asked if I was going out. I said I never have and he gave me one of those invitations that your not sure if it's sincere or not. I'm sure if I pressed it, he'd take me.

Honestly I live by a pretty big lake and I have geese atdusk that fly over me by the hundreds. A couple of my stands would be perfect for geese. No decoys or calling would be needed.

Diesel, thats the joy of crow hunting..we have a blast, nothing like shootin a high-balling raider and have him fall so close to Dad he has to jump outta the way, or vice versa. Or a nice murder (thats the actual term for a "flock" of crows) comes in and you're dropping them like rain. Hootin and hollering the whole time. We go $.25 a bird it can get expensive if your off.

If you like jerky there is nothing like goose jerky. Goose is lean and the breast meat slices great for jerky. If you haven't tried any go ahead you will love it.

Doves are almost as good as goose jerky buy the last couple of years the numbers have been down ,but this year looks great. I hope the weather holds and the heat stays away.
