congrats mobow!!!!! thats a good way to get us all fired up. i shot another doe last night, had a bruiser about 400yds. away chasing does so i held out as long as i could to shoot the doe, i had about 5 min. of shooting light left and the buck went to the corn so i took her. tomm im going back out to get my 140" deer(wishful thinking but i have to stay positive). well good luck to all.

Update:

Guys,

I hunted 13 straight hour sin the stand on Wednesday Saw little action cause the wind was up. Hunted 8 hours on Thursday. Saw about 30 deer. 3 small bucks and a spike were grunting, sparring, chasing buck and even foaming at the mouth. Never saw any shooters though which concerns me cause the farm I hunt has some big seer on it. Today I put in another 8 hours of stand time. Saw two bucks chasing a doe and one small 8 point. Then in the evening saw an old, small 8 pt. tending a doe. He even tried to mount her at one point. I guess that meansthe Rut is officially "on". Still have not seen any big buck, which is odd. Lots of grunting and shasing in the woods. Hunting another farm tomorrow that has some really big bucks and no hunting pressure. Since the wind is kicking up on Monday and the wife wants me back home this could be my last shot. Sur ewish the weather had been better this year. Seems like every day is either too warm or too windy.
