You got the right time of year...that's for sure. I usually plan my hunting around those dates every year. You should hit the peak of pre-rut...best time to be in on stand in my opinion. Heres hoping for good coolautumn weather!!!

Mobo..these are called antlers! The male Whitetail Deer, carry these on their head. They are typicallyshed in winter and new ones begin in the spring. Google it, and you can learn many more interesting facts.

Red 5 stdby checking in. I didn't realize they picked the teams so fast. Looks like a good group so far. This is my first year in the contest. I missed last year and didn't sign up as an alternate. I hunt in Northern WI and can't wait to get started. Tell those other guys we don't need their help with a team name! I like any of the names but would like to come up with something not used last year.

I was going for the Rodney Dangerfield, but I like the positive attitude better- Team- Respect THIS! sounds good. At least our team can spell, I'm not sure how to through in a twist, I usually throw in a twist.
