Went out for the opener with RDHunter and man........ I think I seen Noah loading the ark. The first 2 hours of light it was beautiful. Had a yearling out front and 2 doe to my right side. Then the thunder rolled in, winds picked up and the lightning started. It did this until around 1. Back to the woods at 2:30 and at 4, downpour until 6:15 when I said "I Quit" Soaked to the bone. It rained all the way home and probably didn't quit until 10 last night........

Hey guys! Got back from my trip which was great! Brought back a trophy smallmouth bass! Went out on morning 2 and saw a doe, which was way too far out of my range (130 YDS). Will be going out again here soon! Good luck to everybody!!!!!

Wednesday- 2 more days and back to the woods. After scouting some last weekend I am going to try 2 new spots this coming weekend. both in Jackson Co. (Home of the Big Boys) Michigan. It is suppose to get extremely warm though so that may be a hinder. It wouldn't be hunting season though if all was perfect!

Am I the only one hunting on this team or what?[] I know some haven't started, just curious.Deer movement has been very slow since it got so hot. Now I'm looking forward to the end of the month when the big boys come out. I'll probably only be hunting here and there for now untill the end of the month. GOOD LUCK GUYS!

Paddles, seems like you are one of the few in the woods as of right now. But I am excisted as HELL to get in the woods next Sat. Oct. 13 Havent seen anything GREAT ,and few six's and 2 eights, but I will be selective for a bit, but I only have "bow" right to the property, and when bow season is over I heard the family lets NOTHING walk, but I will get firast dibs beings I will be the only one that bow hunts it...
