dont get down shoot all i had seen all year up to this point while sitting in the stand was 3 or 4 doe and i had been out quite a bit, i was starting to think i was doing something wrong then it all came together so hang in there

It always seems to go that way. I have been hunting my but off the past week with only three days left. I hunt with my father and brother in law and today we changed things up. I made my father in law sit in the back seat of the truck and let him go to his new stand. As luck would have it he shot a buck out that stand and I didnt see anything. I have three days left to seal the deal. My father in law is a great guy and he shot the biggest buck to date for him, so hats off. I could of shot the one he shot today on Monday but elected to pass......it may come back to haunt me!

here are the entrance wounds from my buck first one is from 100 grain shuttle t lock which had minimal damage and second is from 100 grain sonic pro that had some pretty severe damage to all 3 blades

DAMN Paddles that is a NICE buck. Well guy's I have been on stand noe 63hrs. I have seen 8 around 55-58 deer, and got 2 does down but NO bucks yet. I did go out behind the house this afternoon and saw 4 FRESH scrapes in a 25yrd area. I sat up in the climber for about 4hrs. but NOTHING...

I have put my time in this week but nothing worth writing home about! This morning is the last time I will be able to hunt for awhile. I had the entire week of but nothing! I have seen a ton of deer and small bucks but nothing yet! For some reason it always comes down to the last four hours!

Well the season has come and gone for me and I have nothing to show for it again. The season consisted of seeing 4 shooter bucks as followsI saw a 140" monster 8 the first day come under my stand while stretching to get no shot, I saw a 130"ish 8 or bigger the following monday in which I blew a light grunt only to have the buck bolt away, I shot and missed an upper 120's 8 point buck at 25 yards and last night I had a 120ish 8 point buck come behind my stand but wouldn't come up from behind me.My buddy shot a nice 10 pointer, that I posted, out of my stand and that is pretty much how my season has gone. There have beenmostly down points this seasonand the onlyup sides to this season were the buck that I've seen. Well I hope some of you can still bag a nice buck for the team good luck.
