ORIGINAL: Lady Forge Hey Team 9; I noticed We have a few things to take care of. First of all I noticed joejoepeck hasnt checked in so I sent him a email asking him to stop by here and check in. Next we need a Team Captian Nominations are as follows 1. Antler Eater 2. Antler Eater 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Could we all add our nominations for team captian or if you want to volunteer to be team captain just add your name to the list. Then we also need a Team Name and then a Team Logo, So far Team name suggestions are as follows. Bloodcreek I did get a score onit 156 and some change. Nice buck indeed, a13 pointer with tremendous character. I also vote for Dream Team and Antler Eaterwould make a fine captain. I shoot a Bowtech Tribute and have a Bowtech Patriot for a backup. Bloodcreek here is a pic of the Euro.  |

Wow, looks like I am shooting the minority. I have some buddies that shoot Bowtech, they are great bows. I just like the one I have. I am going to try and do some scouting tonight, and get the cameras out again. I also need to try and get some more stands up this weekend. Only 6 weeks until the fun begins. It doesn't seem like it should already be that time again, but I sure am glad that it is!

Hey dream team sound great and Anterl eater would make a good captian. I shoot a PSE Scorpion It was there 2004 pro series next March Im going to try the PSE X Force . I have shot every bow made at one time not stuck with one brand what feels the best, might shoot 5 or 6 diffrent bows before I pick one try to get a new ever 2-3 years . Shane |

Team 9 thank you for your support, I humbly accept the role of captain and I only hope I can live up to your expectations.
While I may not kill the biggest buck in the contest or even on our (Dream) team, I can assure you that I will make every effort to put my tag on a veryrespectable buck....Of course really that is no big deal (the effort that is) because it is something that I enjoy doing immensley. Ryan, I love your work. I agree with Tribal I like the patriotic tone to your avatar. One question, and please be patient with my ignorance; Perhaps it is just my poor quality of a monitor, but I see red, white, and black (perhaps a touch of blue)....Anyway, I guess what I am asking is, would there be any way to add some stars to your wonderful creation to get more of the flag flavor? Keep in mind I already like what you have done, I couldn't begin to compete with your creativity or artistic ability, I am just thinking out loud. I don't have any idea what is realistic or possible. :) ....Still no word from joejoepeck...... I put a call in to the HNI Legal department concerning section238B.S. code 5zqand they have assured me that this particular section of the code has been ammended. According to whatI found out it was something called the M.A.L.A.R.K.Y. Amendedment.It allows for some type of loop hole wherein (and I quote) "...if one falls into the "fugly" catagory,supersubhero status,or in fact is in the witness protection program;a captainmay indeed have part or all ofhis/her face covered in contest photos without fear of prejudice or ridicule, as long as such coverings do not resemble those black squares that are used on peoples faces in those naughty magazines"...:) Who would have thunk it!!! Lady Forge you must have an amazing piece of property that you hunt. The deer in that area are unreal. I movedto MD last year and had hunted all public. This sat however I am to meet a few fellows to look at a 280 acre property. I am pretty excited about the possibility of having some land to really hunt the way I would like and with much less pressure

Some inspiring news, I just talked to a friend of mine this past week. He allows me to park @ his house & hunt the forest behind it. About 4 yrs ago, he told me a white-tined 8 pointer w/a very respectable rack that he & his wife had seen several times. Turns out, his wife spotted him this yr. in the same location as before.I'd say he's a 10-12 ptr. now. So looks like I'll have to gocheck outthis urban legend. Come on Sept!!
