Well, out of 3 cams we put up on my buddies property about a week and a half ago, I checked one this morning. Nothing but does and fawns as far as the 4 legged critters, but there were a couple of turkeys. Since he couldn't get out til late afternoon to check cams, I told him just to change out the memory cards and get out of dodge before he spooks somethin, so he grabbed up the cards from the other 2 tonight. He has to go buy a reader to look at them tho, lol. If he doesnt get one today, I'll check them out tomorrow. He said one bungee cord on a cam with 16 hits was laying next to the camera... I wonder what kind of critter might have done that??

Wierd. He said there wasn't anything on thecam that the cord came off of. I wonder if it was aimed more across than down the trail? Also, nothing but does on the other one. I'm sure there are bucks in the area, but they seem to be camera shy.

RIstrutstopper- I know what you mean about camera shy bucks.
So far I've gotten 2 spikes, 2 nubbins and one 4-5pt youngin. Man my hopes are sure dwindling fast. Maybe the bucks in my woods are so spooked they won't go near any odd smells (camera, my tracks).
One thing is for sure, I've got does and pigs- something should catch an arrow this season if I do my part.

Barredrock- I think that is the same Moultree 4 mp they are selling down here for $88.99 at our Academy sports stores. I'm tempted to grab one, but 6 c-cell batteries is going to get old after a while. I like the 6v option much better (I recharge one while the other is in use).
I could buy rechargeable c-cells, but dang six of them? Gonna take a big charger to pull that off.
6x 1.5 volts= 9volts. a full sized rechargerable 9 volt would be the way to go. I wonder if anybody makes one?
Have you heard any reports on battery life on the Moultree 4mp's?

I've got a Moultree 1 mp and very much prefer it over my bushnell.

Remember the more mega-pixels, the more memory each pic eats up.
a 1-2mp is going to hold a lot more pics per card IMHO than the 4 mp and provide plenty of clarity.

But at $100 the price is right.
