Finally got 1 for the team. He scores 138 and change and it was a great hunt. Lets keep going team it was a long year for me with not alot of sightings so I am grateful for this great buck.

Thanx everybody. I am tickled to have had the opp. to harvest this buck. I passed on a nice 10 pointer Oct. 19 and I was regretting it. I do taxidermy and the hunting was slowing me down alot. I will have to re evaluate my prioritys and next year take the first P&Y contender I see. "Hopefully" but next year is a long ways away!!! Thanx again, Doug

After blowing numerous chances this past week (busted trying to draw on doesthree times), I put another doe onto the ground this morning (#3) - opening day of the MD ML season...

The shot took out her right lung and heart, she went only 50 yds before piling up.

I have a few ready for this year. this is on my 30 acres in SE KS. I didnt hunt there this year as it is almost all open ground. I planted alfalfa here and will border the whole property next year with corn. I will shot acouple this year if they give me the opp. What I mean is one, but there are a couple I would shot and be happy!!! I have video of the big browtine buck from this year and a pic from 2 years ago. I will post some up. Doug.

These bucks have been there for a month on and off. Pics almost everynight of all bucks except the 'Browtine Buck". He isnt regular but around every so often. The one antlered buck has been that way for awhile. Maybe the big 8 busted it off early. next pics are where I killed my buck this year. Enjoy. Doug ps this next buck has both sides just pic shows 1 side he is a huge 8 also.
