RE: 19-Official Team 19 Thread

That was my first time and I didn't tie my bottom knote correctly. This past time I took a pair of pliers and really pulled the knote tight.

Oh, I'm sorry. Dummy me.I thought you were commenting on my speed nocks moving. The speed nocks are just brass nocks placed near the cams to increase velocity. Usually 2 of them and adjusting them. You adjust them up and down to get maximum velocity. They are on my factory string. By moving weight closer to the cams it helps them turn over faster.

Do they actually work? I wonder if they would work with hybrid cams. Come to think of it, my stock string had a weight at the end of the bottom serving. hmmm. Are these just the standare brass nocks? The one that came on mine looks like three of them covered in shrink tubing.

Those are your speed nocks. Some companies use 2, some use 3. It all depends on what works best for that set-up.

They're only on the bottom. Will I need those when my new string comes or will I be ok without them?

And, do you like your treelimb?

I'm sure there is some reason why they only stuck them on the bottom. However, I couldn't begin t oexplain why.

You can play around with the speed nocks if you'd like to on your new string. It's all a matter of if you want to try and pick-up a few fps.

The Treelimb is a pretty nice quiver. It's very quiet even when the vanes are touching and the henging feature was one of the biggest selling points to me.
