Good job buckmaster. Hopefully you jump started our good luck. Im going out sat morning to try and seal the deal on an 8pt that i missed earlier in the season. (guessed the distance wrong and shot over his back).. Should have my new range finder tonight so no more guessing.

Heres the buck i was talking about.. Looks like he is a 7pt now with maybe a broken brow tine. Not the greatest pic he was moving. You can see where the brow tine is and the other point on the side is there but i guess was washed out by him moving...

Hey thats a good looking buck. I was not aware that you missed him earlier. The range finder is a whole different ball game, you will love it. I like to range my max distance all around me, kind of a mental picture of my limits. good luck with him. what range finderare you getting?

those are some good pics countryboy. at least he is still hanging around for ya. Well i just got home from an evening hunt, as mentioned earlier, the way my season is going i had made my mind up to plug the first decent 2.5 that came along since im not seeing anything bigger at all. Well at 5:45 i had two does in the field behind me three does across the ditch in another field and had an 8 point slip in through the woods that i estimated at 2.5 came in at 10 yards, my mind was swimming yes or no and i decided yes, i was just starting my draw when he grunted and decided to charge the two does in the field, shot did not happen 
Im almost glad now, he will be a dandy next season.

Best of luck to everyone this weekend. FInally getting some good deer movement. I will be in the tree most of the day tomorrow. Actually hoping that my son will get his first with a bow tomorrow, but maybe MR. Big will come by.
